With your VxRail appliance, you are entitled to a range of vSphere and DP – Data Protection Licenses that are included in the VxRail licensing.

vCenter can be installed in two flavors
- Internal uses a new vCenter appliance that is deployed as part of the VxRail installation workflow.
- External uses an already existing vCenter that the customer manages themselves.
*5VM per node holds through for VxRail V, E, P, S Series. For the 2U 4 Node G Series appliance the license entitlement is 15VM Per Chassis.
